Services.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services provide support for individuals who need assistance developing or improving essential life skills. You and/or your child help to establish goals together with the therapist, and then work towards those during and outside of therapy. Services may include: fine motor skill development (improving hand strength, dexterity, and coordination for tasks like writing, cutting and buttoning), sensory processing support (strategies to help manage sensory input and enhance self-regulation skills), handwriting and visual-motor skills (support for letter formation, spacing and endurance for written tasks), and executive functioning strategies (techniques to enhance attention, organization and problem solving).

Assistive Technology

My assistive technology services can work on learning how to use tools available in Google Chrome, Microsoft and iOS to support individuals and students with learning challenges, specifically in the areas of reading, comprehension, writing, spelling, math, and executive functioning, organization, and much more!

What is Assistive Technology? Assistive technology refers to any tool, device, or system—whether commercially available, modified, or customized—that helps enhance, support, or improve the functional abilities of a child with a disability. However, this does not include surgically implanted medical devices or their replacements.

How Can Assistive Technology Benefit You? From early childhood through young adulthood (ages 2 to 22), a child’s primary role is to learn—both in school and in daily life. Assistive technology services provide essential support by helping children with disabilities select, access, and use tools that enhance their learning experience. AT bridges the gap between their role as a student and the challenges presented by their disability, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed.
